Gail Barley Interiors

“My husband and I chose Gail Barley Interiors for our home build project. Gail and Claire worked alongside us from start to finish. She helped guide us in the choices we had to make and made the process easy and less overwhelming. She helped us select flooring, lighting, appliances, as well as furniture and decor. Gail really was able to capture my style and design rooms that were beautiful, comfortable and magazine worthy. I love my home! I would definitely recommend Gail and her team.”

“Having Claire, Gail, and their team help me with decisions was extremely helpful!  They were masterful at helping me see the rationale of design decisions and guiding me through the process. I appreciated that they always gave me guidelines and let my preferences lead.  I feel like the final product is a good reflection of my taste, but better than I could have done without their assistance. They made the process much less stressful. Ensuring that I had purchased all the items the contractor would need and that they arrived in time. The team was great at communicating with my contractor and me throughout the process.”

“We used Claire Doster from Gail Barley Interiors for a major renovation to our home in Delaney Park that has recently been completed and are extremely pleased with the outcome!

We initially thought a designer would just help us with decorating ideas. However, it quickly became clear that we would be utilizing Claire as a liaison between us and the builder. We were inexperienced with the building process and she basically guided us through the whole process. Her insight and technical knowledge were extremely valuable. Her design ideas were amazing and she incorporated ideas that would have never occurred to us. She made our addition a comfortable and welcoming spot to relax while enjoying our gorgeous surroundings. She curated pieces, colors, fabrics, tile, colors, that matched our personalities and truly made our home a showcase.

We will undoubtedly be using her services again. She was truly a lifesaver for us as we navigated our way through the process.”

“In a nutshell: WORTH EVERY PENNY. Smooth, professional, responsive, great listeners, and all-around nice people.
More details:
We hired GB Interiors to fully furnish our dining room, living room, entryway, and also design and source for a complete gut reno of two guest bathrooms. We started with one couch, a tv, and a couple pieces of artwork, and they did EVERYTHING else. They listened well to put our vague ideas into concrete reality, they encouraged us to try new things without ever being pushy, and were always patient when we were indecisive. More than once, we asked for multiple different options, only to go with their first recommendation after all. When we ran into trouble with our contractor during the bathroom remodel, they stepped in to get things back on track and it was such a relief to know we had someone to advocate for us. When any item happened to show up in less than perfect shape, they got it fixed. They were so practical in advising us on what was worth the extra money and what we could just pick up at Target, and I love the confidence in knowing our money was well and wisely spent. I would recommend them for any sort of interior design help, but for new homeowners like us who were starting from basically zero, the GB team was VITAL in taking a painstaking and overwhelming process and actually making it kind of fun!

We love our home, we get TONS of compliments, and they will absolutely be the first people we call for any future projects.”

“Gail has been wonderful. I’ve never used a decorator before, and she completely made me feel at ease. She has managed to find quality pieces while staying within my budget. I work full time, and having her buying furniture and coordinating all the installation has been huge! I started with one room and am having her do the rest of the house. Would recommend her completely!”

“I hired Gail to help with the total renovation of my holiday home in Orlando. From the very first meeting, Gail listened and understood my needs, so working together, with her recommendations, I now have the most beautiful home, which I never want to leave! Her professionalism and attention to detail, made this huge project possible, even being over 4,000 miles away! Gail took control of the whole project, overseeing kitchen and bathroom remodeling, as well as all the other rooms in the house. We wanted the “wow” factor, and we got it! I would not hesitate to recommend Gail and Claire (her assistant) for any renovation, no matter how big or small.”

“My wife and I cannot recommend Gail and Claire enough. They epitomized professionalism throughout our potential home build and ultimately the purchase of our new home. Their ideas resonated and led to some wonderful furniture acquisitions. They were always prompt and honest with us, and there were never any surprises.
Whenever we purchase or build again we’ll leverage Gail and Claire for insight into color schemes, blueprint home layout and overall design. What a fantastic team and positive experience.”

“We were moving to Florida from out of state, so much of Gail’s work for us had to be done long distance. Despite the challenge of being in different locations, Gail was extremely easy to work with. She understood our design preferences immediately and provided us with choices that fit our style, taste and budget. From concept to installation, Gail made the process smooth and worry free for us. The results are spectacular - we love everything that Gail and her team did. Our family and friends agree! We would wholeheartedly recommend Gail Barley Interiors!”

“I came on Houzz to find an interior designer to decorate the main level of our first home. I had no prior experience with interior designers so I really had no idea what to expect. I contacted several professionals but Gail was the only one who returned my inquiry. This was the beginning of a great relationship. She was very professional via email, phone, and in person. She was very approachable and available for all questions and concerns through the process. She respected my budget and made me feel my vision was possible! She was very patient with my purchasing decisions. I trusted her wholeheartedly and she far exceeded my expectations!! My home is exactly what I envisioned. I had that “HGTV moment” and element of surprise after the final install. In addition, we stayed UNDER budget and on time! I highly recommend Gail Barley Interiors for your decorating needs. I plan to utilize her again when I am ready to do my second level.”

“Gail was fantastic to work with - she was comfortable dealing with my limited resources and my even more limited vision, and was responsive and professional in every way. The paint and carpet colors we chose were perfect! I am thrilled with the results.”

Julie

“We asked Gail to help create and execute a vision for a tween girl bedroom. She did a great job listening and creating a plan taking all the viewpoints into consideration. She worked within our budget and thoughtfully selected all the pieces that would go into this room. The process was easy and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. EVERYONE loved the way it came out and now it’s my favorite room in the whole house.”
